Dave Foord 

VLE Consultant | A6 Training and Consultancy

Dave Foord works freelance, mainly supporting organisations with their use of Moodle. This includes; initial consultation to help choose a platform, Setting up and managing the VLE, Content creation, Staff training and other front end development work. Dave is a qualified and experienced teacher (FE & HE) who used VLEs effectively in his teaching, and was one of the early pioneers in this area of work. He has been using Moodle from it’s very early days, and has supported dozens of different organisations over the years including Colleges, Universities, Charities, Private companies, Government Agencies and Sport Governing bodies.

Samuel Godbehere has been working with Moodle at Overt Software for over 6 years primarily supporting a variety of customers in their deployment and usage of Moodle. This includes the initial set-up of Moodle software, the secure baseline of the LAMP stack server on which Moodle will sit, migrating customers existing Moodle deployments to an Overt cloud server as well as accomodating any bespoke solutions they may have already, as well as supporting requested bespoke solutions as they are developed. This also includes guiding customers through the testing and upgrade process of Moodle software. He also has knowledge and experience working with a variety of other software adjacent to Moodle such as Mahara, BigBlueButton and WordPress.
